Promoting OER:  Where to Start. Are you thinking about the benefits of OER, but not sure where to start? This table will discuss the importance of developing relationships with stakeholders. We will share some ideas about how to open the discussion and promote OER with students, librarians, faculty, and staff. (Moderated by Leigh Dawson, Access Services Librarian, Eastern University)

Open Pedagogy and Renewable Assignments. Open pedagogy can be a new and somewhat intimidating experience for both faculty and students. We'll discuss considerations for planning and executing open pedagogy projects as well as our experiences or ideas for new projects. (Moderated by Bryan McGeary, Learning Design and Open Education Engagement Librarian, Penn State University)

Simplifying Designing OER. Beginning the OER journey can feel overwhelming. We will discuss (1) how to choose and adapt existing OER to meet your learning objectives and (2) how to develop new OER in collaboration with your students. (Moderated by Laura Richardson, Assistant Professor, Lebanon Valley College)

Your OER Journey. Roadblocks and Solutions. As we all work to provide OER options for our campuses we are bound to hit roadblocks along the way. At this table we will share our experiences, find similarities and try and find solution. (Moderated by Misti Smith, Assistant Librarian/Head of Technical Services, Saint Francis University)

Automatic Billing/Inclusive Access Licenses. What’s in the fine print? In some circumstances automatic textbook billing/inclusive access programs are tools for negotiating improved textbook & access code prices. Lets examine the terms of publicly available agreements between colleges and bookstores, publishers and textbook platforms to be prepared to broker deals that are advantageous for our communities. (Moderated by Linda Hauck, Business Librarian, Villanova University)
